The collected material I have is almost exclusively from Texas. One of my favorite varieties to hunt for is Ashe Juniper. While some may not have all of the deadwood of other collected junipers I find their growth and foliage quality is outstanding, as you can see from the picture on the left.

Another variety I am excited to start working with and collecting more of is Mexican sage. Its unique foliage, purple flowers and deadwood make this a unique and I think underutilized bonsai species. I also  collect cedar elm, hackberry, live oak, Mexican plum, and many more.
